CHICKPEA SALAD

Chickpeas also known as garbanzo beans provide an excellent source of molybdenum.As a good source of fiber, garbanzo beans can help to lower cholesterol and improve blood sugar levels.Hence, they make a great food especially for diabetics and insulin-resistant individuals.

INGREDIENTS

Chickpeas (boiled) - 1 cup
Onion (chopped) - 1 no.
Tomatoes (chopped) - 1 tsp
Tomatoes (chopped) - 1 tsp
Cumin - 1 tsp
Curry powder - 1 tsp
Corriander powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Olive oil - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste

METHOD
 
  1. • Heat the oil in pan, add cumin seeds and onion saute it for few minutes
  2. • Add tomatoes, chickpeas and all the spices.
  3. • Add water, according to preferred consistency. Cover, and allow it to cook well.
  4. • Serve hot.
