Oat Smoothie

Oat Milk is a health drink that is very healthy and nutritious especially for hypertensive individuals.

INGREDIENTS

Whole oats - 1/4 cup
Skimmed milk - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Almond powder - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp

METHOD
 
  1. • Sprout the oats by soaking it in water and then keeping it wrapped in a muslin cloth for one whole day.
  2. • Then, wash the oats properly and put it in a blender with 1 cup of milk and water. Blend for two to three minutes.
  3. • Strain the liquid using a strainer.
  4. • Add cardamom powder, almond powder, and sugar. Again blend for five minutes.
  5. • Serve Chilled.
