Oriental Salad

Oriental salad is a low calorie, high fiber salad rich in antioxidants that may lower the risk of heart diseases and cancers as well as other degenerative diseases. Its a yummy recipe by Gurgaon's Weight loss nutritionist, Dr. Tanju for a healthy slimming.

INGREDIENTS

Lettuce - 1 small bunch
Carrot - 1 no.
Yellow bellpeper(Capsicum) - 1 no.
Tomato - 1 no.
Sesame seeds (Til) - 1 tsp
F OR DRESSING
Oil - 1 tsp
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Sugar - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste

METHOD
 
  1. • Chop lettuce finely.
  2. • Cut carrots and capsicum into thin, long strips.
  3. • Cut tomato into fine cubes.
  4. • Add the dressing ingredients into a bottle with a tight lid and shake it very well.
  5. • Mix the dressing with all the vegetables. keep in refrigerator for 5-10 min.
  6. • Serve chilled.
