Rawa Dhokla

Rawa dhokla is a healthy option for snacks and breakfast that's full of protein and fiber.

INGREDIENTS

Semolina (Rawa) - 1 cup
Sour curd - 1 cup
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - few
Salt - to taste
FOR TEMPERING
Green chilies - 1-2 no.
Curry leaves - few
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp

METHOD
 
  1. • Mix rawa, turmeric powder,chili powder, curds and salt to form a batter. Set it aside for 30 min.
  2. • Pour the batter over a greased tray so that a thin layer is formed.
  3. • Steam in a dhokla steamer for at least 15 min or until a inserted knife comes out clean.
  4. • Remove thali from flame, cool and cut the dhokla into square/diamond shapes.
  5. • Prepare the tempering by heating oil and adding mustard seeds, green chillies and curry leaves. Once seeds start spluttering, pour it on dhokla pieces.
  6. • Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
